That Time My Cousin Challenged Me To Make A Pearl Jam song in the style of Iron Maiden | Iron Maiden Week (Day Three)

Let me set the stage. It was nine years ago. I was still living in Naples, FL and still have incredible amounts of free time. I was still doing my first podcast, which included people emailing or calling and giving me song ideas that I would then write and record. My cousin, let's just call him Mark, challenged me to either do a Pearl Jam cover in the style of Iron Maiden - or do an Iron Maiden cover in the style of Pearl Jam.

I chose the Pearl Jam song in the style of Maiden, and chose my favorite Pearl Jam tune "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town" and took influences from Maiden's Can I Play with Madness and Run to the Hills.

Enjoy - and Up the Irons.

Oh, who am I kidding - I did the Maiden song in the style of Pearl Jam too....
